I have had a few dentists over the years but I have to say that Dr Mehdi is absolutely outstanding. Since being recommended to him a few years ago by a friend, all of my treatments have been with him simply because I trust him and his work. He is incredibly skilled, thorough, and gentle. I’ve had various treatments including composite bonding and Invisalign to improve my smile and anytime I needed to get anything done, Dr Mehdi took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I felt at ease every step of the way. I would highly recommend him and really looking forward to taking my dad to get his implant done!

When you walk-in , you feel the excess of excellence the decor, then the staff have this impeccable smile and friendliness that puts you in a very relaxing mood! Then comes the doctor who puts you in a it’s not bad at all that is if you have been to a dentist before fright gone ! He also explains everything to a T! Communication is impeccable! Then comes the money man and I tell you, everything’s he says makes you a believer! I guess that is why they are called “smiles by da river”. Am so impressed! Trust me on this. I was quite nervous before my appointment, but Dr. Mehdi answered all my questions, explained each step of the procedure, and made sure I felt completely comfortable. The kind usually reserved for high-net-worth individuals. From the moment you step in, everything feels world-class. The facilities are immaculate, impeccably clean and hygienic, yet warm, vibrant, and aesthetically stunning, a far cry from the sterile feel of many dental clinics. It immediately puts you at ease. But what truly sets this place apart is the team, starting with my dentist, Mehdi (who I believe owns the practice). He is not only an absolute gentleman but a world-class dentist with exceptional skill, empathy, and dedication. A couple of days before my sister’s wedding, I was in a car accident that knocked out my dental bridge. I lost it entirely in the chaos and was devastated at the thought of attending the wedding with a missing front tooth. I was so self-conscious and nervous. I called Smiles By The River in a panic, explained the urgent situation, and they moved heaven and earth to accommodate me. They booked me in the very next day and, to my astonishment, Mehdi arranged for a brand-new dental bridge to be created and fitted all within one day, provided I came in very early. I work nights and don’t finish until 6am, so I headed straight there from North London (where I live and work) to South London after a long shift, exhausted but desperate. When I arrived, they took an X-ray, got straight to work, and incredibly Mehdi even let me rest on a comfortable sofa with a clean blanket while the bridge was being prepared. I actually managed to get some much-needed sleep. The compassion, humanity, and genuine care I received were second to none – I’ve never experienced anything like it at a dental practice. The entire team is outstanding: world-class professionals who are also just genuinely wonderful human beings. Special thanks to Mehdi, Marco, Shohaib, Sam, Izzy, and Elena. Every single one of them contributed to making a stressful, urgent situation feel supportive and seamless. My new bridge looks perfect, fits flawlessly, and I walked out of there beaming (literally!) in time for the wedding.
